BAROSSA VALLEY
Wijn is sinds 1842 een manier van leven in Barossa Valley. Snel vooruit naar vandaag, en Barossa is de thuisbasis van meer dan 550 druiventelende families, waarvan velen met de zesde generatie nog steeds op hetzelfde stuk land werken en kwaliteitsdruiven leveren aan meer dan 170 wijn bedrijven.
De beste Barossan-wijnen zitten comfortabel naast de grote wijnen van de wereld. BarossaShiraz en Eden Valley Riesling hebben het voortouw genomen als regionale helden, met Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro, Grenache, Semillon en versterkte wijnen die allemaal hebben bijgedragen aan de reputatie van Barossa als de wereldwijde wijnregio van Australië.
Barossa omvat zowel de Barossa Valley als de Eden Valleys, waardoor het een van de weinige wijnregio's in Australië is met aangrenzende warme en koele klimatologische groeiomstandigheden.
Met zo'n diversiteit aan groeiomstandigheden en grondsoorten in beide valleien, en wijngaarden die al generaties lang met de hand worden onderhouden, vindt u vast en zeker een wijn die u de uwe kunt noemen.

My parents named me after Mozart. Luckily they went for Wolfgang and not Amadeus! I grew up in the Barossa and have worked closely to the wine industry for 30+ years, first in our family label printing business then with wine itself.
