This is the eighteenth release of Shiraz under the Mr Riggs label and their Flagship Series is the crème de la crème. It just does not get any better than this.
The JFR McLaren Vale Shiraz is a robustly structured wine with an opulent cranberry, black cherry and plum-like combination of fruit characters all beautifully balanced with the malty oak. An exceptional McLaren Vale Shiraz.

FRESH, RIPE SEDUCTIVE
You pretty much know what you’re going to get with the reds from Mr Riggs. Plush mouthfeel, lots of dark berried fruit, excellent concentration, generous oak and equally generous acidity. It presents a fresh, ripe, seductive ooze of flavour with a fine melt of tannin and very good length. Coffeed notes have meshed well with the fruit and while there’s alcohol warmth here it all slips down easily and well.
