Some of the best Chardonnay in the country is sourced from the cool climate Adelaide Hills region. This crowd pleasing wine made by Ben Riggs shows a classic natural high acidity and is low in alcohol which aids in giving the wine its complexity. The aim for this Chardonnay is to show the complexity of the barrel fermentation characters rather than new oak characters.

A VERY SMART CHARDONNAY
"Mid-straw colour, with a complex nutty bouquet, a hint of peanut brittle. The taste is mellow and well removed from simplistic grapy flavour, with touches of toffee and caramel. There is good concentration, resulting in a lingering intensity. Very smart chardonnay."
