This wine is intensely bright, floral and fragrant on the nose with lovely length on the palate. A perfectly balanced Cabernet, very worthy of its reputation.

TASTING NOTES
Perfectly balanced Cabernet. Yields were on par with the long-term average and the Cabernet is showing deep, rich colour, soft ripe tannins and strong varietal flavours.
“Gorgeous dark chocolate, dense fruit and high acidity”

Vineyard | The 2019 Coonawarra Cabernet is supplied from the Wetherall vineyards located in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region. Supplied from the “Thomas” vineyard and the “Harrison” vineyard, The sites are located in the northern end of the region and are traditionally some of the earlier ripening blocks with low yields and excellent concentration.
INTENSE PURPLE & RUBY SHADES
in the glass. The nose has mint and mocha over black fruits. Big plump black fruits with olives and rosemary savoury tangents. Big tannins drive the palate and tame the weight to a degree. Still finishes with some fruit sweetness"
